A little bit about the song:
Just when you thought we were getting all soft and shit with “Trophy Lovers” we return with this tasty slab of goodness, a guitar-heavy bruiser that delivers like a punch straight to the gut. The song takes its title from a band that Rush drummer Neil Peart played for in the early ’70s in St. Catharines, Ontario. “J.R. Flood” was recorded, mixed and produced by Chris Hegge (Fucked Up, The Meligrove Band) at Audiolab Recording Company in Toronto between November 2010 and May 2011, and mastered by Harris Newman (The Besnard Lakes, Handsome Furs) at Grey Market Mastering in Montreal.
Here’s some footage of us playing it live.
